Area Sales Manager – Public Infrastructure

About the role

The Area Sales Manager will lead sales and business development for 3M’s Public Infrastructure and Key Account vertical in the North Region of India. Based in Delhi, you will promote CBTD products to government‑funded projects such as airports, railway stations, hospitals and universities.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize public‑infra projects and budgets across the North Region.
• Map organisations, key stakeholders and decision‑makers in government‑funded initiatives.
• Engage stakeholders to include or upgrade 3M specifications and generate new project opportunities.
• Develop and manage a robust channel network for the Public Infra vertical.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align product solutions with project requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within public‑sector or infrastructure markets.
• Strong understanding of government procurement processes and budgeting cycles.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with senior officials.
• Ability to work independently and travel across the North Region.
