Applications Development Module Lead

About the role

As a Lead GCP Data Engineer you will focus on solving problems and creating value for the business by building reliable, scalable solutions. You will create custom pipelines and migrate on‑prem data pipelines to the GCP stack, working with a team that designs and deploys solutions tailored to the company’s data landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and deploy internal applications supporting technology lifecycle, collaboration, service delivery, and business intelligence.
• Develop modular code for reusable pipelines and complex ingestion frameworks to load data into data lakes or warehouses from multiple sources.
• Collaborate with analysts and business owners to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Maintain high development standards, including technical design, configuration, testing, documentation, and clean, modular code.
• Implement CI/CD processes using Pulumi, GitHub, Cloud Build, Docker and related tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of experience in data engineering, preferably GCP Certified Data Engineer.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to advocate technical solutions.
• Willingness to work the afternoon shift (3 PM – 12 AM IST).
