Accountant – Full‑time Finance Position

About the role

YogKulam, a leading yoga education institution, is looking for a full‑time Accountant to own and manage its financial records. You will work directly with the Founder, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, statutory compliance, and clear financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting operations using Zoho Books, including purchase, sales, payment and receipt entries.
• Reconcile bank statements and maintain up‑to‑date ledgers, vendor payments and expense records.
• Prepare and file GST returns, TDS deductions and other statutory compliance requirements.
• Coordinate proactively with the company’s Chartered Accountant for audits and regulatory filings.
• Generate monthly MIS reports, financial summaries, and support payroll processing.
• Maintain real‑time visibility of receivables, payables and cash position.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on accounting experience.
• B.Com or M.Com (or equivalent) qualification.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS and Indian statutory compliance.
• Ability to work independently, maintain accuracy and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills for coordination with senior management and the CA.

Required skills

• Zoho Books (mandatory).
