Web Platform Support Specialist

About the role

The Web Platform Support Specialist will act as the digital liaison for internal teams, ensuring smooth operation of the company’s web content management ecosystem. You will collaborate with web managers, editors, and reviewers to uphold the Group’s digital vision and communication standards across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

• Assist editors and reviewers in using the Web Content Management System to create, edit, manage, and publish digital content.
• Provide timely, high‑quality customer service for all web‑related requests and issues.
• Maintain daily operations of supporting applications such as SDL Translation Management System, ServiceNow, Jira, Adobe Analytics, Hotjar, Confluence, Apsis, UniFlip, ThousandEyes, and Google Tag Manager.
• Test new functionalities, perform bug‑testing, and ensure stable releases.
• Anticipate potential problems, implement preventive measures, and avoid recurring errors.
• Report progress, flag risks, and escalate issues to the Team Lead.
• Create and keep process documentation and knowledge‑base articles up to date.
• Participate in ad‑hoc projects, website launches, and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Deliver training sessions and knowledge‑sharing webinars as needed.

Required profile

• Excellent written and spoken English.
• At least 1 year of experience in a digital, customer‑service, or help‑desk environment.
• Strong customer orientation and business‑mindset.
• Eager to learn new technologies and adapt to changing priorities.
• Organised, detail‑oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Proactive, result‑driven, and comfortable presenting to varied audiences.

Required skills

• Proficiency with WYSIWYG editors.
• Familiarity with HTML (basic knowledge).
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications.
• Hands‑on experience with SDL Translation Management System.
• ServiceNow, Jira, Adobe Analytics, Hotjar, Confluence.
• Apsis, UniFlip, ThousandEyes, Google Tag Manager.
