Warehouse Operations Executive – Contract Logistics

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Executive to lead all warehouse functions within our contract logistics operation. The role oversees inbound, sorting, picking, outbound and inventory processes, ensuring efficiency, safety and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end warehouse activities including vehicle unloading, sorting, picking, outbound shipments and inventory control.
• Plan and adjust manpower levels in line with volume fluctuations, supervising a team of 150+ staff.
• Control loss, monitor hygiene standards and enforce safety procedures throughout the site.
• Analyse operational miss reports, productivity data and implement improvements.
• Handle customer queries, escalations and reporting, ensuring timely communication.
• Maintain regional P&L, avoid customer debits and sustain margins within budget.
• Escalate non‑compliance issues to management and propose layout‑wise staffing plans.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large warehouse teams (150+ employees).
• Strong understanding of contract logistics and warehouse operations.
• Ability to plan manpower according to demand and optimise productivity.
• Analytical mindset for reviewing reports and driving process improvements.
• Commitment to safety, hygiene and loss‑control standards.
• Effective communication skills for customer interaction and internal escalation.
