Taxation Specialist (Nodal)

About the role

We are looking for a Taxation (Nodal) professional to manage tax provisions, ensure compliance and support audits within a fast‑moving FMCG manufacturing environment. The role will act as the central point for tax reporting and issue resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare tax provision schedules, returns, payments and related reports, maintaining an up‑to‑date tax database.
• Identify and resolve complex tax issues, recommend legal tax‑saving opportunities and align strategies with financial goals.
• Monitor changes in tax laws, ensure compliance with GST and other direct and indirect taxes.
• Prepare quarterly and annual tax reports for timely submission to authorities.
• Support internal and external tax audits by providing required documentation and addressing auditor queries.

Required profile

• CA / CA Inter or CMA (Inter) qualification.
• 2‑6 years of experience in taxation, preferably in an FMCG manufacturing setup.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on tax work within a manufacturing unit.
• Strong knowledge of GST, direct and indirect taxes.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP for tax processes.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Understanding of GST regulations.
