Tax Consultant – Indirect Tax (TMT) – Bangalore

About the role

EY is seeking a Tax Consultant to join its Indirect Tax team in Bangalore. The role involves delivering tax compliance and advisory services for TMT clients, ensuring high‑quality client engagements and supporting the firm’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file individual tax returns and e‑TDS returns.
• Draft submissions and represent clients before tax authorities.
• Advise on inbound/outbound employee structuring, immigration, and provident fund matters for expatriates.
• Collaborate with senior tax professionals to deliver comprehensive tax solutions.
• Utilise electronic working papers and tax software to conduct research and produce accurate deliverables.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards in all client interactions.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
• 0‑1 year of relevant tax experience.
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
