Supply Chain Data Analyst

About the role

3M is seeking a Supply Chain Data Analyst to join its global supply chain team in Bangalore. The role focuses on extracting, cleaning, and analysing complex supply chain data to provide actionable insights that drive data‑driven decision‑making across the enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Extract, clean, and validate data from multiple sources using SQL and AI‑assisted workflows.
• Develop and maintain scalable data models and dashboards in Power BI or Tableau.
• Conduct advanced analysis, modelling, and visualisation to uncover trends and support strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into data solutions.
• Leverage AI tools and Python scripts to accelerate data processing and analysis.
• Present insights and recommendations to functional stakeholders.
• Support data quality, governance, and process automation initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, verified before start date.
• At least 7 years of professional experience, including 3+ years in data extraction, statistical analysis, and advanced analytics.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience with SQL and data‑visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Proven ability to work independently and communicate findings to diverse audiences.

Required skills

• SQL (including window functions, CTEs) – preferably Snowflake.
• Data‑visualisation tools: Power BI, Tableau.
• Python programming for data manipulation and AI‑assisted workflows.
• Experience with AI development tools such as large language models or coding copilots.
• Data modelling and relational database design.
• Familiarity with Snowflake data‑warehouse features (clustering keys, materialised views).
