About the role
The Store Manager will oversee the storage and preservation of critical project supplies, ensuring longevity, optimal performance, and compliance with equipment manufacturer guidelines. This role combines hands‑on material handling with SAP‑based inventory processes to support power‑plant and industrial projects.
Key responsibilities
- Manage material storage, shelf‑life monitoring, and preservation practices.
- Control inventory using perpetual inventory methods and selective stocktaking.
- Oversee gate entry processes, including receipt, inspection, rejection, and documentation.
- Handle supplier debit/credit notes, bill processing, e‑way bills, and audit compliance.
- Plan and develop warehouse infrastructure to meet project needs.
- Conduct detailed inspections of incoming materials and periodic safety/quality reviews.
- Execute SAP transactions for GPN posting, material issuance, transfers, and consumption recording.
- Manage fuel operations, including receipt, quality checks, measurement, accounting, and reconciliation.
Required profile
- Strong knowledge of power‑plant components and project materials.
- Experience with SAP material management modules.
- Proven ability to ensure compliance with internal and external audits.
- Familiarity with legal and government authority liaison.
