Specialist – Transaction Services (Procure-to-Pay)

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Specialist in Transaction Services to join its Global Business Service Center in India. The role focuses on Procure-to-Pay (P2P) operations, supporting suppliers, purchase orders, invoices and payments while driving process improvements and ensuring compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide timely resolution for P2P inquiries related to supplier onboarding, purchase orders, invoices and payments.
• Coordinate with Global P2P, Sourcing, Legal and Compliance teams to address issues.
• Maintain working files, trackers and reporting documentation.
• Execute day‑to‑day transaction processing for accounts payable, payments and month‑end close.
• Analyze data, deliver insights and recommend process enhancements to reduce manual effort.
• Meet or exceed Service Level Agreement objectives.
• Ensure adherence to SOX controls and maintain required documentation.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance with 5‑6 years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience supporting procure‑to‑pay processes and sub‑ledger accounting.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to work across functions.
• Ability to interpret contract terms and assist in drafting SOW/MSA/DPA.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems such as Coupa and Oracle.
• End‑to‑end Accounts Payable knowledge.
• Data analysis capability to extract actionable insights.
• Understanding of SOX compliance requirements.
