Software Engineer – Azure

About the role

LinkedIn’s Azure Support & Automation team is looking for a Software Engineer to create and maintain scalable solutions for building, deploying, and supporting Azure infrastructure and applications. This full‑time position is based in Bangalore and follows a hybrid work model.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and automate Azure‑focused business processes, systems, and tools.
• Collaborate with Software and Infrastructure Engineers to deploy and operate solutions.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, integration and unit tests.
• Manage cloud resources using declarative languages such as ARM, Ansible, or Terraform.
• Make technical decisions, solve complex problems, and coach teams to ensure high‑quality automation.

Required profile

• BTech/MTech/MCA or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
• 2+ years of experience developing cloud‑focused software in C#, Python, or other OOP languages.
• Hands‑on experience with build and release engineering, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
• Experience deploying Azure resources via ARM, Ansible, Terraform or similar.
• Solid understanding of software design, architecture, DevOps concepts, and Agile practices.
