Software Engineer - Azure

About the role

The Azure Support & Automation team at LinkedIn is looking for a Software Engineer to develop and support scalable methods for building, deploying, and managing Azure infrastructure and applications. You will collaborate closely with software and infrastructure engineers, automate processes, and create deployment tools within a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain tools for building, deploying, and supporting Azure infrastructure and applications.
• Collaborate with software and infrastructure engineers to operate solutions and streamline processes.
• Create and manage CI/CD pipelines, integration and unit tests.
• Deploy and manage cloud resources using declarative languages such as ARM, Ansible, and Terraform.
• Contribute to software design, architecture, and technical decision‑making.
• Coach teams to deliver high‑quality Azure support and automation.

Required profile

• BTech/MTech/MCA or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Azure‑focused software development using C#, Python, or other OOP languages.
• Experience in build and release engineering, CI/CD pipeline creation, and test authoring.
• Hands‑on experience with declarative cloud management tools (ARM, Ansible, Terraform).
• Solid understanding of software design, architecture, DevOps concepts and Agile practices.
