Senior Process Architect – Architectural (Pharma/Life Sciences)

About the role

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Process Architect – Architectural to lead the design of pharmaceutical and life‑science facilities. You will work closely with clients to translate their needs into concept layouts, master plans and detailed architectural documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with clients to capture requirements and obtain buy‑in for design concepts.
• Develop architectural layout options, site master‑plan alternatives and architectural narratives.
• Create flow diagrams, schedules, room data sheets and ensure compliance with cGMP standards.
• Support permitting applications, tender packages and specification preparation.
• Ensure all work follows Jacobs technical policies and client engineering standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program (recognised by the Council of Architecture).
• At least 8 years of relevant experience, including licensed architect status (AIA).
• In‑depth knowledge of pharmaceutical and life‑science facility layout and process requirements (API, sterile, OSD, bio‑pharma, gene‑therapy, R&D labs).
• Familiarity with Indian statutory and regulatory bodies (NBC, MIDC, KSIIC, HSIIDC) and cGMP requirements.
