Senior Android Developer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Android Developer to design, build and maintain high‑quality native Android applications. You will work on production‑grade projects, own the full development lifecycle and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable, user‑friendly mobile experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and debug native Android apps using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Implement scalable architectures (MVVM, Clean Architecture) and multi‑module designs.
• Integrate RESTful APIs with Retrofit or Ktor and manage dependency injection with Hilt, Dagger or Koin.
• Optimize performance, reliability and resource usage, including offline handling.
• Maintain Gradle configurations, build variants and version catalogs for multi‑module projects.
• Own Play Store releases, versioning, and production deployment.
• Write unit tests, contribute to automated testing and ensure high code quality.
• Provide production support, troubleshoot issues and participate in on‑call rotations.
• Collaborate with Backend, QA, Product, DevOps and other engineering teams.
• Contribute to technical design discussions, R&D initiatives and evaluate Kotlin Multiplatform where appropriate.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on native Android development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin, Android SDK and Jetpack Compose.
• Deep understanding of MVVM, Clean Architecture and modularisation.
• Experience delivering multi‑module Android applications at scale.
• Proven ability to work independently and mentor junior engineers.
