About the role
The Regional Sales Manager – Bancassurance will lead business growth across the assigned region, working closely with channel partners to achieve premium and revenue targets. The role involves managing a team of sales managers and ensuring smooth execution of sales processes.
Key responsibilities
- Achieve premium and revenue targets for the region.
- Maintain continuous interaction with channel partners and map key decision‑makers.
- Ensure smooth functioning of sales and related processes, including training on policy changes.
- Manage expense budgets, track spend, and obtain partner commitments before allocations.
- Recruit, develop and train sales managers to maximize productivity.
- Allocate responsibilities based on resource strengths and set appropriate targets.
- Monitor business performance, handle customer queries, and ensure timely renewals.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the allocated area.
Required profile
- Proven ability to drive business and achieve sales targets.
- Experience in managing relationships with third‑party channel partners.
- Experience leading a team of sales managers (4‑5 members).
- Strong understanding of expense management and budgeting.
