Project Engineer – Building Management Systems

About the role

Chubb India is seeking a Project Engineer to lead the execution of Building Management System (BMS) and Integrated BMS (IBMS) projects. The role involves overseeing installation, commissioning, and hand‑over activities while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and statutory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute projects according to the approved schedule and design specifications.
• Manage on‑site activities, coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams.
• Ensure installation quality, site safety, and compliance with Chubb India requirements.
• Handle material receipt, inspection, invoice certification, and preparation of installation reports.
• Monitor daily progress, identify dependencies, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
• Prepare and circulate daily/weekly project reports and commissioning plans.
• Conduct system testing, demonstrations, and customer training for effective operation and maintenance.
• Maintain commissioning records, test checklists, and obtain customer feedback throughout the project.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in BMS/IBMS project execution.
• BE/B.Tech degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Proven ability to manage on‑site teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
