Project Associate – Residential Refurbishment

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Project Associate to lead residential home refurbishment projects for a fast‑growing proptech startup. The role involves coordinating civil, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and furnishing works across multiple sites in Noida and Ghaziabad, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to high quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day site execution of refurbishment projects across several residential properties.
• Review project scopes, BOQs and drawings and translate them into clear tasks for vendors and tradespeople.
• Ensure timely availability of materials, tools and manpower.
• Coordinate civil contractors, electricians, plumbers, carpenters, painters and interior vendors.
• Maintain daily check‑ins, task lists and progress tracking for each trade.
• Link contractor payments to verified work progress and enforce strict quality standards.
• Inspect all stages (civil, MEP, paint, fittings) for defects and arrange rework.
• Monitor actual versus planned progress, report delays and submit weekly progress reports with photos.
• Maintain material consumption reports and suggest cost‑saving alternatives.
• Capture before/after photo and video logs for documentation.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design or Construction Management (preferred).
• 2‑5 years of experience in residential refurbishment, fit‑outs or interior execution.
• Hands‑on experience in site execution across civil, MEP and interior works.
• Strong communication, vendor handling and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple sites simultaneously.
• Fluency in Hindi and working English for reporting.
