Professor – Management & Commerce

About the role

The Department of Management & Commerce seeks a dedicated Professor to deliver high‑quality teaching, advance research, and support academic administration. The role combines classroom instruction, curriculum development, mentorship, and collaboration with industry partners to enhance the department’s reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses in management, commerce and related disciplines.
• Design and update curricula to align with academic standards and industry trends.
• Prepare lesson plans, assignments, assessments and employ innovative teaching methods.
• Supervise dissertations, research projects and PhD theses.
• Conduct and publish research in reputable, indexed journals and present at conferences.
• Mentor students for academic and career development, including internships and entrepreneurial initiatives.
• Participate in departmental planning, accreditation processes (NAAC, NBA, NIRF) and university administration.
• Build and maintain collaborations with industry, corporate partners and other academic institutions.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Management, Commerce, Business Administration or a related discipline from a recognized university.
• 0–15 years of teaching, research or relevant industry experience as per regulatory norms.
• Demonstrated academic contributions, research publications and experience supervising graduate scholars.
