Operator 1 – Preparatory

About the role

We are looking for an Operator 1 – Preparatory to oversee the day‑to‑day operations of our preparation plant. The role ensures that production processes run smoothly, meet quality standards and achieve the plant’s productivity targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all preparatory plant activities in accordance with SOPs and permitted parameters.
• Monitor process performance and verify that product specifications and quality standards are met.
• Drive plant productivity and meet daily/shift targets.
• Execute preventive and predictive maintenance, lubrication and scheduled repairs to minimise downtime.
• Maintain accurate records and log‑books for plant operations.
• Conduct regular equipment inspections, adjust settings and troubleshoot issues.
• Ensure site tidiness, housekeeping and compliance with safety policies.
• Report to the shift in‑charge and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 12th standard education; relevant ITI certification preferred.
• 5–7 years of hands‑on experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
• Proven ability to manage plant operations and meet production targets.
• Strong understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
