Operations Lead – GIFT City Branch

About the role

The Operations Lead for the GIFT City branch will oversee all end‑to‑end operational and administrative activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance with ANZ’s standards. You will work closely with the branch team to deliver superior customer service while driving efficiency through automation.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain high accuracy and timely execution of all branch operations and admin tasks.
• Support customer deliverables within agreed timelines and manage volume growth.
• Identify and implement process automation to reduce manual effort.
• Operate within allocated cost budgets and achieve minimal error rates.
• Ensure compliance with banking policies, sanctions, AML requirements and relevant laws.
• Manage operational risk, governance, and immediate escalation of breaches.
• Oversee regulatory reporting, outsourcing and GCC governance.
• Maintain client service standards and foster strong relationships with internal teams.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in wholesale banking operations.
• Strong knowledge of lending and trade products.
• Thorough understanding of sanctions and Anti‑Money Laundering requirements.
• Good knowledge of institutional banking instruments and processes.
• Solid exposure to risk management and compliance frameworks.
