Operations Executive – Legal & Compliance

About the role

The Operations Executive – Legal & Compliance will oversee all legal documentation, licensing, statutory compliance and regulatory requirements for Make Your Own Perfume. You will act as the central liaison between internal teams, government authorities, consultants and vendors to ensure uninterrupted business operations.

Key responsibilities

• Review, coordinate and finalize draft agreements with mall management, landlords and other partners, managing execution, renewals and amendments.
• Apply for, obtain, renew and maintain trade licences, shop & establishment licences, GST registration, legal metrology certificates and other statutory approvals.
• Maintain organized, audit‑ready records of all agreements, licences, certificates and compliance trackers.
• Coordinate with government offices, consultants and internal stakeholders for approvals, inspections and registrations.
• Prepare regular compliance reports, trackers and statutory records for audits and internal reviews.

Required profile

• LLB degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in legal coordination, compliance management, licensing or related administration.
• Strong communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Excellent coordination, documentation, negotiation and follow‑up abilities.
• Organised, proactive, detail‑oriented and problem‑solving mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
