Nurse Assistant – Patient Care Role

About the role

Apollo Hospitals is seeking a dedicated Nurse Assistant to support patient care in a fast‑paced hospital environment. The role involves assisting nurses and physicians with clinical tasks, maintaining accurate records, and providing compassionate support to patients and their families.

Key responsibilities

• Record medical history, symptoms and maintain patient documentation.
• Administer medication and basic treatments as directed.
• Perform point‑of‑care tests and basic nursing assessments.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and overall health status.
• Provide bedside care, including hygiene, mobility assistance and comfort measures.
• Operate and care for medical equipment and ensure inventory is stocked.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated patient care.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and post‑discharge instructions.

Required profile

• Graduate with GNM Nursing, BSc Nursing or MSc Nursing.
• Academic excellence: 1st division in 10th, 12th and nursing qualification.
• 3 months to 5 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Team‑oriented mindset with initiative and moral support for patients.
