About the role

Apollo Hospitals is seeking a dedicated Nurse Assistant to join its clinical team. The role involves delivering direct patient care, supporting nursing staff, and ensuring accurate medical documentation within a hospital setting.

Key responsibilities

• Record medical history and symptoms of patients.
• Administer medication and prescribed treatments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan and deliver patient care.
• Perform point‑of‑care tests and basic nursing assessments.
• Monitor patients' health status and report changes.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies.
• Deliver bedside care and operate medical equipment safely.
• Participate in regular in‑service education sessions.

Required profile

• Graduate with 1st division in 10th, 12th and a qualification in GNM Nursing, BSc Nursing or MSc Nursing.
• 3 months to 5 years of experience in nursing or patient care.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and teamwork abilities.
• Initiative, moral support and a compassionate approach to patients.
