Murex Engineer – Front Office (Mx3 Transformation)

About the role

As a Murex Engineer in the Front Office domain, you will support the migration from legacy platforms to the new Mx3 platform while ensuring uninterrupted business‑as‑usual operations. You will work closely with Front Office users and support teams to capture testing requirements, validate changes, and deliver high‑quality solutions aligned with strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Front Office teams to define testing scope, strategy and business needs.
• Design, develop and execute comprehensive test cases, covering SIT, UAT, regression and automation cycles.
• Coordinate with upstream and downstream application teams to manage dependencies and achieve end‑to‑end test coverage.
• Lead defect triage, root‑cause analysis and issue resolution in partnership with QA, development and business stakeholders.
• Provide regular progress updates, governance reporting and stakeholder communication.
• Support integration testing across trading platforms, market data systems, risk engines and downstream applications.
• Partner with Product Owners to refine backlog items, prioritize deliverables and translate requirements into actionable testing plans.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and business analysis capabilities.
• Experience working in a Front Office environment within banking or financial services.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple technical and business teams.
• Proactive attitude with a focus on quality and timely delivery.

Required skills

• Murex platform expertise.
• Knowledge of the Mx3 platform.
