About the role
The position is focused on providing support for mainframe environments, specifically handling applications written in COBOL, job control scripts in JCL, and databases built on DB2. The successful candidate will work within an incident‑management framework to ensure timely resolution of production issues. This role contributes to Allime Tech Solutions' mission of delivering tailored technology solutions to its clients.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor, diagnose and resolve incidents affecting COBOL, JCL and DB2 components.
- Coordinate with other technical teams to restore services and minimize downtime.
- Document incident details and corrective actions for future reference.
Required profile
- 5 to 8 years of hands‑on experience in mainframe support.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and follow incident‑management procedures.
Required skills
- COBOL programming language.
- JCL (Job Control Language) scripting.
- IBM DB2 database administration and troubleshooting.
