About the role
iMerit is seeking an experienced Labour Compliance Manager to lead end‑to‑end labour law compliance across multiple locations and vendor operations. You will work closely with HR, Legal, Finance, Procurement and Business teams to ensure robust governance and mitigate compliance risks.
Key responsibilities
- Drive labour law and statutory compliance across all operational sites.
- Lead implementation of labour codes and oversee compliance governance frameworks.
- Manage vendor and contractor compliance programmes, ensuring third‑party adherence.
- Support audits, statutory inspections and interactions with regulatory authorities.
- Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to identify and close compliance observations.
Required profile
- 10–12 years of experience in labour compliance, preferably within IT Services, ITES or BPM organisations.
- Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws such as CLRA, Shops & Establishment, Minimum Wages, Payment of Wages, Bonus, Gratuity, PF, ESIC and Contract Labour.
- Proven experience managing multi‑location operations and third‑party workforce compliance.
- Hands‑on expertise in labour audits, statutory inspections and compliance reporting.
Required skills
- In‑depth understanding of Indian labour legislation.
- Experience with labour code implementation and governance.
- Ability to conduct audits and manage regulatory interactions.
