Junior Welding Engineer (TIG, Inconel)

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Welding Engineer to join our Multi‑modal Manufacturing Facility in Pune. The role focuses on TIG and orbital welding of tubes, sheet‑metal parts and ducts made from stainless steel and Inconel for aerospace applications.

Key responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding of tubes, air manifolds and sheet‑metal components.
• Weld stainless‑steel (SS 321) and Inconel 625 parts, including repair of defective castings.
• Execute welding and fabrication using TIG and orbital welding processes.
• Read, interpret and apply drawings, manuals, SOPs and MOS to produce finished products.
• Assemble welded components and ensure they meet quality standards.

Required profile

• Diploma with at least 2.5 years of welding and fabrication experience.
• Certified to AWS D17.1 for 6G position welding of II A & III B materials.
• Proven ability to produce X‑ray quality Class B welds on SS 321 and Inconel 625.
• Strong personal integrity and safety mindset.
• Experience in the aerospace engineering sector, specifically tube and duct fabrication for aircraft engines.
