Junior Accountant – Immediate Joiner (Thane)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Junior Accountant to join our finance team in Thane immediately. The role supports daily accounting operations, MIS reporting, and project‑wise financial tracking while ensuring compliance and accurate documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain regular MIS reports.
• Enter purchase, sales, journal, payment and receipt data in Tally ERP.
• Track and monitor project‑wise expenses and payments.
• Analyze budget versus actual expenses and produce variance reports.
• Perform document checking and verification.
• Coordinate with the Chartered Accountant for utilization certificates and other financial documents.
• Prepare vouchers, maintain a systematic filing system, and conduct physical site verifications when required.
• Ensure statutory compliance and proper documentation.
• Liaise with internal teams for account and project updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field.
• 1–2 years of hands‑on accounting experience.
• Working knowledge of Tally ERP.
• Basic understanding of MIS reporting and budgeting.
• Familiarity with statutory compliance requirements.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
