Java Backend Developer – Cutting‑Edge Technology Team

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic Java Backend Developers to join the Cutting‑Edge Technology Team at IDFC First Bank. You will work on building robust, high‑performance services that power our banking platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain end‑to‑end backend endpoints using Spring Boot and Java.
• Create and integrate REST APIs with existing services.
• Write and optimise SQL queries for Oracle and SQL Server databases.
• Implement unit tests and adopt test‑driven development practices.
• Participate in CI/CD pipelines, Docker and Kubernetes deployments.
• Provide Level‑3 support for production issues and assist in environment setup.
• Collaborate in scrum meetings, design reviews, and code configuration management.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience in Java backend development.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand business requirements.
• Self‑driven, proactive, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
