FP&A Manager – Data Analytics & Machine Learning

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Manager for Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to lead data‑driven decision making across the organization. The role combines finance expertise with advanced analytics, machine‑learning, and dashboard development to deliver actionable insights for the business.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement machine‑learning solutions that generate actionable financial insights.
• Build and maintain backend data structures and databases that power dashboards and reporting tools.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance centralized dashboards and Management Information Systems (MIS).
• Collaborate with Americas and Corporate FP&A teams to create advanced analytics and data‑science tools.
• Train and support cross‑functional teams on automation techniques and analytical best practices.

Required profile

• Strong academic background in Computer Science, Data Science, Technology or a related field.
• Proven experience in data management, mining, analytics, reporting and quantitative analysis.
• Self‑motivated with a track record of delivering results in a team environment.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to translate data into compelling business insights.
• Experience interacting with stakeholders to understand technical needs and deliver effective solutions.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
• SQL and advanced Excel.
• Familiarity with machine‑learning frameworks, libraries, data structures and software architecture.
• Experience delivering large‑scale projects on Tableau or Power BI.
