About the role
We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the design, development, and operation of cloud‑native business applications at scale. The role combines deep technical expertise with agile leadership to deliver stable, high‑performance solutions for the financial services sector.
Key responsibilities
- Architect, build, and maintain cloud‑native applications supporting large‑scale financial services workloads.
- Drive agile development practices and continuous delivery pipelines across multiple teams.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring senior engineers and guiding architectural decisions.
- Collaborate with product owners to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and security of deployed services.
Required profile
- 15 + years of software engineering experience, primarily in the financial services domain.
- 5 + years as a senior architect or technical lead designing high‑throughput applications.
- 3 + years leading agile, cloud‑native development teams in startup, large‑enterprise, or fintech environments.
- Proven ability to mentor engineers and foster a collaborative, results‑driven culture.
Required skills
- Front‑end frameworks: ReactJS, Angular.
- Back‑end technologies: Spring, Python, Node.js.
- Messaging and streaming: Kafka, RabbitMQ.
- Databases: Redis, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Yugabyte, MongoDB.
- Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP.
- Containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes.
- API design and protocols: REST, RPC.
