Cyber Security Strategist

About the role

Civica is seeking a Cyber Security Strategist to shape the future of security design, integration, and governance across its enterprise and cloud environments. Working closely with the Head of Cyber Strategy, you will align security architecture with the company’s long‑term technology vision while protecting critical public‑sector services.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve security architecture for enterprise and cloud landscapes.
• Embed security practices throughout the system development lifecycle in partnership with platform, product, development, and IT teams.
• Craft, implement, and maintain security frameworks that meet global standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR.
• Lead risk evaluation, compliance initiatives, and governance processes.
• Influence leadership decisions and collaborate across product and engineering groups to deploy cutting‑edge security solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in security architecture and strategic security planning.
• Strong understanding of enterprise and cloud security concepts.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience aligning security initiatives with broader technology and business objectives.
