Customer Connectivity Engineer

About the role

As a Customer Connectivity Engineer you will join an international team dedicated to delivering seamless connectivity solutions for multinational customers. You will work closely with the 24x7 Mission Control Operations Center and customer teams to design, deploy, and maintain WAN services that ensure high availability and optimal performance.

Key responsibilities

• Learn and apply Open Systems’ connectivity portfolio, operational processes, and service delivery standards.
• Handle connectivity administration tasks such as order tracking, RFS date management, ISP quality assurance, and handover of services.
• Design, deploy, and maintain WAN solutions using SD‑WAN, leased lines, MPLS, VPN and IPSec technologies.
• Coordinate with ISPs and telecom providers for provisioning, issue resolution, circuit upgrades, migrations and de‑commissioning.
• Implement network redundancy, failover and high‑availability configurations.
• Monitor WAN performance, latency and packet loss; conduct root‑cause analysis and drive remediation.
• Collaborate with Customer Operations and Project Management teams to ensure smooth project execution and logistics.
• Provide 24x7 first‑line connectivity support from the Mission Control Operations Center.

Required profile

• Strong experience with WAN technologies such as SD‑WAN, MPLS, VPN and IPSec.
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, QoS, DNS, DHCP and network monitoring tools.
• Proven track record working with ISPs and multinational organizations on connectivity projects.
• Highly motivated to learn new skills through internal training programs.
• Excellent English communication skills for customer‑facing interactions under pressure.
