About the role
The Tea Coterie™ - India is seeking a Continental Chef to design, prepare, and present a range of continental dishes that complement our artisan tea and organic tisane menu. This full‑time, on‑site position is based in India and plays a key part in delivering an elevated culinary experience for our guests.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and plate continental dishes that pair well with tea and tisane offerings.
- Maintain inventory, conduct mise en place, and ensure timely service during peak periods.
- Manage food costs, minimize waste, and oversee portion control.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards, keeping the kitchen clean and compliant.
- Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to incorporate guest feedback and develop new menu items.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a Continental Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant, café, or hospitality setting.
- Strong knowledge of continental cuisine, cooking techniques, and plating.
- Understanding of food safety, hygiene regulations, and best sanitation practices.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and peak service hours.
