Branch Manager – Gold Loans (Lucknow)

About the role

The Branch Manager – Gold Loans is responsible for driving branch‑level business performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, delivering a superior customer experience and maintaining portfolio quality. The role leads the frontline team to achieve disbursement, new customer acquisition, yield, audit, collections and risk KPIs while upholding operational governance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise branch staff including ABM, Gold Valuer, GLO and CSE, ensuring productivity and performance management.
• Achieve branch targets for loan disbursement, new customer acquisition, yield, audit, collections and risk metrics.
• Ensure accurate gold valuation, loan structuring within LTV norms and proper documentation for all new and renewal transactions.
• Maintain strict adherence to RBI norms, internal policies, risk processes, purity testing and audit standards.
• Monitor portfolio health – delinquencies, yield, tonnage, auction ratios, spurious/bentex cases and overall branch growth.

Required profile

• Proven ability to build strong relationships with local customers, partners, authorities and community influencers.
• Experience supervising a multi‑disciplinary team in a banking or NBFC environment.
• Deep understanding of gold loan products, regulatory guidelines and risk management.
• Analytical mindset for portfolio monitoring and performance tracking.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding business targets in a financial services setting.
