Assistant Resident Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Resident Engineer to support the Resident Engineer in supervising road and highway projects in Assam. You will work on‑site, ensuring that construction activities meet design specifications and national standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Resident Engineer in supervising road/highway works.
• Monitor site activities such as earthwork, GSB, WMM, bituminous works, and structural works.
• Ensure execution complies with drawings and MoRTH/IRC standards.
• Check material quality and ongoing work.
• Verify measurements and contractor bills.
• Track progress, report delays or issues, and coordinate with contractors and clients.
• Maintain daily reports and site records.
• Promote and enforce safety standards on site.

Required profile

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• 5–10 years of experience in road/highway projects.
• Basic knowledge of MoRTH and IRC specifications.
• Strong communication and coordination abilities.
