Assistant Research Scientist I – Analytical Chemistry

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Research Scientist I to join our Innovation Campus in Navi Mumbai. The role focuses on analytical testing and characterization of chemical compounds, supporting R&D projects with high accuracy and precision.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis using UPLC, GC, GC‑MS, and LC‑MS techniques.
• Maintain and calibrate analytical instruments to ensure optimal performance.
• Generate, interpret, and document data for R&D projects, including ELN entries and periodic reports.
• Prepare and update SOPs in collaboration with senior chemists and reporting managers.
• Collaborate with APR/P chemists, management, and suppliers, and manage project‑related inventories.
• Adhere to BASF safety norms and perform assigned team‑wide tasks.

Required profile

• Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Analytical Chemistry.
• Demonstrated customer focus, effective communication, and innovation drive.
