Assistant Manager / Senior Engineer – Customer Project Management

About the role

Bosch is looking for an Assistant Manager / Senior Engineer to lead customer project management in component engineering. The role is based in Bangalore and involves planning, executing and delivering project work packages while ensuring quality, cost and timeline targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and lead deliverables of customer projects in component engineering.
• Estimate and plan project costs covering design, testing and coordination.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans as needed.
• Monitor project progress, recommend improvements and implement changes.
• Lead engineering product quality and preventive quality management using Bosch Engineering System (BES) methods.
• Coordinate IDN and platform window meetings with lead departments.
• Drive budget planning and ensure compliance with regulations and customer specifications.
• Develop competencies in functional areas based on business trends.
• Supervise innovation management processes to generate new ideas and solve product/customer challenges.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in component engineering and project management.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage budgets and risks.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities across multiple departments.
