About the role
The Assistant Manager – Security will support the execution of security operations across Adani Group’s port and logistics sites. Reporting to senior security leadership, the role ensures alignment with the overall security strategy, risk mitigation, and protection of assets.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in aligning daily security activities with business objectives and provide operational insights.
- Support implementation of SOPs and ensure adherence to security processes.
- Participate in patrols, monitor CCTV systems, and document incidents.
- Oversee access‑control operations, manage visitor access cards, and report deviations.
- Monitor vehicle and cargo movements using GPS and RFID tagging tools.
- Act as a support responder during emergencies, following established response plans.
- Stay updated on digital and AI advancements to improve security effectiveness.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Security Management or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in security operations, preferably in logistics or port environments.
- Ability to work with internal security teams, zonal teams, law‑enforcement agencies and security vendors.
Required skills
- Proficiency with CCTV surveillance systems.
- Experience using GPS tracking for vehicle monitoring.
- Knowledge of RFID tagging for cargo security.
- Familiarity with access‑control management tools.
