Assistant Manager – Risk Containment Unit

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Risk Containment Unit will support daily fraud monitoring, investigation and reporting for Bajaj Finance Ltd. The role focuses on minimizing fraud exposure, ensuring robust portfolio health and driving continuous improvement of fraud‑related processes.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze suspect transactions and report findings to senior management within defined timelines.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis of fraud and dispute cases and recommend corrective actions.
• Track direct fraud trends, manage field fraud investigations and ensure case closure within agreed TAT.
• Maintain and circulate error‑free dashboards and fraud monitoring reports (daily, weekly, monthly).
• Collaborate with central and field RCU teams to improve fraud catch rates and automate processes.
• Propose policy changes and new technologies to prevent fraud before loan disbursal.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret transaction data.
• Experience in fraud monitoring, investigation and reporting.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with risk, customer service, product and sales teams.
• Excellent communication skills for internal and external stakeholder interaction.
