About the role

EY is seeking an Assistant Manager to join its Talent Consulting team in Pune. The role bridges HR and business leaders, ensuring HR initiatives align with business objectives while delivering an exceptional employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse HR metrics, identify trends and present actionable insights to business leaders.
• Support employees through organisational changes and promote smooth transitions.
• Develop and implement plans to boost employee engagement and satisfaction.
• Advise supervisors on team management, conflict resolution and effective communication.
• Share best‑practice approaches across the organisation and act as an employee advocate.
• Contribute to HR process automation, talent management initiatives and ensure compliance with employment laws.

Required profile

• Proactive mindset with ability to work independently and manage HR processes with minimal oversight.
• Strong analytical capabilities and comfort working with data‑driven HR metrics.
• Excellent stakeholder partnership skills, able to influence and collaborate with business leaders.
• Solid understanding of employment regulations and HR best practices.
