Assistant Manager - Billing

About the role

Godrej Properties, part of the Godrej Industries Group, is hiring an Assistant Manager - Billing in Kamshet, Maharashtra. The role covers billing and quantity verification for large-scale infrastructure works such as roads, drainage, utilities and site development, and certifies contractor bills for landscaping, softscape and hardscape, artificial pools and lakes. It is a full-time position.

Key responsibilities

• Verify subcontractor and vendor bills against work orders, BOQs, measurement sheets and agreed rates.
• Certify contractor bills for landscaping, softscape and hardscape, artificial pool and lake construction.
• Check BOQs, work orders, rate analysis, variation orders and extra item claims.
• Coordinate with site engineers and consultants to ensure accurate measurement certification.
• Track executed quantities against BOQ, monitor cost deviations and reconcile material consumption with executed quantities.
• Prepare cost comparison statements and help track budgets across work packages.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms, GST and TDS, and internal audit requirements.
• Maintain billing records, measurement books, abstracts and payment trackers, and support final contractor accounts and project closure.
• Support MIS reporting, cash flow forecasting and cost control analysis.

Required profile

• B.E./B.Tech (Civil); postgraduate degree in Project/Construction Management preferred.
• 7-12 years of experience in billing/commercial functions in large-scale real estate or owner-driven developments.
• Proven experience in luxury villa and township projects.
• Experience in complex multi-package contractor environments and rate analysis.

Required skills

• Strong exposure to infrastructure, landscaping and site development billing.
• Rate analysis, variation management and reconciliation of large BOQs.
