Assistant Front Office Manager – Hotel

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Front Office Manager to support the daily operations of our Holiday Inn Express in Chennai OMR Thoraipakkam. The role combines guest‑service excellence with team leadership to ensure smooth front‑desk processes and uphold IHG brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver prompt, courteous service to all guests and handle complaints efficiently.
• Oversee reception, guest relations, telephone operations and night‑audit coordination.
• Supervise front‑office staff during shifts, conduct briefings, and assist with training and performance management.
• Maintain accurate reports, cash handling, room inventory, and coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance.
• Support revenue goals by identifying upselling opportunities and controlling operational costs.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, security procedures and confidentiality of guest information.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Hotel Management or Hospitality Management.
• 3–5 years of front‑office experience in a hotel setting, with supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with hotel property management systems, preferably Opera.
