Assistant Clinical Nurse

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Clinical Nurse to join our team at Apollo Hospitals. The role involves supporting patient care, assisting senior nurses, and ensuring accurate medical documentation in a fast‑paced hospital environment.

Key responsibilities

• Record patients’ medical history, symptoms and vital signs.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments under supervision.
• Perform point‑of‑care tests and basic nursing assessments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan and deliver patient care.
• Provide bedside care, monitor patient health status and report changes.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and post‑discharge care.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and ensure proper use of equipment.
• Operate and care for medical equipment and assist in in‑service training sessions.

Required profile

• Graduate in GNM Nursing, BSc Nursing or MSc Nursing with first‑division marks in 10th and 12th.
• 3 months to 5 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and handle patient interactions with empathy.

Required skills

• Computer literacy for maintaining electronic medical records.
