Assembler - Mechanical II

About the role

Baker Hughes is seeking an experienced Assembler – Mechanical II to join its shop‑floor team. You will operate machinery, assemble and test products, and help maintain smooth production processes while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machines and equipment according to SOPs.
• Perform assembly, testing, packaging, and material‑handling tasks as required.
• Inspect finished products for quality, report any defects, and ensure compliance with standards.
• Follow all safety guidelines and use required PPE.
• Record production data and maintain accurate documentation.
• Assist in troubleshooting minor machine issues and escalate major problems to maintenance.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives to boost productivity and reduce waste.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to read and follow work instructions.
• Understanding of safety and quality standards.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
