Admin & Employee Relations Manager – Plant Operations

About the role

The role supports the Plant HR Head in overseeing administration, employee welfare, statutory compliance and liaison with external authorities for Castrol's Silvassa plant and its housing colony. It offers the chance to contribute to a leading global lubricants manufacturer while developing a broad set of HR and operational skills.

Key responsibilities

• Manage plant administration functions including transportation, horticulture, housekeeping, telephones, and guest house operations.
• Oversee vehicle management, stationery supplies, and contractor performance.
• Supervise canteen administration and security services, ensuring hygiene and compliance with SOPs.
• Coordinate payroll liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
• Handle employee welfare initiatives, statutory compliance, and community development activities.
• Liaise with police, local administration, electricity, fire department and other external authorities.

Required profile

• Strong organizational and coordination abilities.
• Experience in plant or large‑scale facility administration.
• Good understanding of statutory compliance and employee welfare processes.
• Ability to work closely with HR leadership and external agencies.
