Accountant / Management Accountant (CMA Preferred)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant / Management Accountant to join our Raipur office. The role involves handling the full accounting cycle, preparing budgets, and ensuring timely financial reporting in compliance with GAAP.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all accounting transactions and maintain accurate records.
• Prepare budget forecasts and publish financial statements on schedule.
• Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
• Ensure timely bank payments and compute taxes.
• Prepare tax returns and manage balance sheets and profit‑and‑loss statements.
• Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity.
• Audit financial transactions and documents.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial data and perform database backups when required.
• Comply with financial policies and regulations.

Required profile

• Work experience as an Accountant.
• BSc in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Additional certification such as CPA or CMA is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with FreshBooks.
• Hands‑on experience with QuickBooks.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
• Knowledge of general ledger functions.
• Understanding of GAAP accounting principles.
