Accountant – Global Accounting Controllers

About the role

Oracle's Global Accounting Controllers team is seeking an Accountant to support US GAAP accounting and reporting for multiple countries. You will play a key part in ensuring accurate, timely book closes and financial statement integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Execute month‑end and quarter‑end close activities, including journal entries, ledger analysis and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Provide data‑center accounting, audit support, and lead or participate in global finance projects.
• Test and validate process changes resulting from system upgrades.
• Drive process and reconciliation improvements using cloud‑based automation.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders to maintain a unified approach to close management and financial data governance.
• Train new joiners and act as the single point of contact for regional project troubleshooting.
• Prepare financial reports such as profit & loss, income statements and balance sheets.

Required profile

• CA/CMA with 3‑6 years of experience, or B.Com/M.Com/MBA with 8+ years in accounting and finance.
• Self‑driven, result‑oriented with strong communication skills.
• Team player able to collaborate across global teams.
• Innovative mindset with a fiduciary focus.
