Yard Management DevOps - Back-End (M/F/D)

About the role

We are looking for a Back‑End DevOps Engineer to join the Yard Management team at BASF’s Digital Hub in Hyderabad. You will be responsible for developing and customizing a SAP‑based Yard Management solution, ensuring it is scalable, standardized and meets global logistics requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Translate functional requirements into technical specifications and design new functionalities.
• Customize a third‑party ABAP‑based solution and develop add‑on features for the Yard Management Standard Solution.
• Implement and maintain interfaces with central systems such as SAP ERP, Transportation Management (TM) and Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).
• Handle global and site‑specific releases following SOLMAN release management processes.
• Perform unit testing, support functional testing and UAT, and automate regression tests.
• Collaborate with a multicultural, geographically distributed team of technical and functional experts.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an ABAP developer or in a similar role.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management configuration, enhancement and technical architecture.
• Strong knowledge of object‑oriented ABAP, BAdIs, user exits and the enhancement framework.
• Experience customizing SAP ERP, TM and EWM modules.
