Windows Administrator – PowerShell Automation

About the role

Fiserv is looking for a skilled Windows Administrator with strong PowerShell scripting and automation expertise to manage and support its enterprise Windows server infrastructure. The role focuses on system administration, automation, incident resolution, server lifecycle management, and continuous improvement to enhance operational efficiency and platform stability.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and support Windows Server environments across production, test, and development platforms.
• Provision, configure, maintain, and de‑commission servers.
• Develop, maintain, and optimise PowerShell scripts for routine operational automation.
• Manage monthly vulnerability remediation and security compliance initiatives.
• Automate processes such as server validation, service monitoring, disk management, compliance reporting, and patch deployment.
• Collaborate with application teams during maintenance windows, deployments, upgrades, and incident investigations.
• Support enterprise tools deployment (SCCM/MECM, Tanium, monitoring and security agents).
• Participate in on‑call support and major incident response.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge articles.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 5+ years of hands‑on Windows Server administration experience.
• Strong expertise in PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Experience with Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 environments.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management).
• Ability to work in a 24x7 support environment when required.
